Cross Ops France Tribute WOD
For Time: Finished in 50:06
3,200 meter Weighted Run (20/14 kg)
50 Pull-Ups
100 Push-Ups
100 Air Squats
**************************************************
Getting ready for Murph at the end of the month and this workout was perfect for that!
I actually wore my 20# vest accidentally reading the weighted run weight in POUNDS - I am asking if that should actually have been pounds or if I should have worn my 30# vest because that is in KG. We'll see what they say -
They said it's KG! SO! I will be doing this one again!
Anyway, I did walk/run for the run and finished that part in 27:30
Finished the pull-ups at 32:34 - sets of 10! Plenty of rest in between because I haven't been doing many kipping pull-ups as of late...
Finished the push-ups in 45:15 - Sets written on white board in picture! Some sets of 10 and then several combinations of sets of 10.
and then the squats at 50:06 - these roughly sets of 25. I just tried not to hit that super fatigued state.

Background: This workout is dedicated to the 13th Parachute Dragoon Regiments, a special reconnaissance regiment of the French Army.
It is one of three regiments in the French Army Special Forces Command, which is under the control of the COS (special operations command). It is based in Martignas-sur-Jalle.
Constituted in the form of a regiment of dragoons (mounted cavalry) during the Ancien Regime by the Marquis de Barbezières at Languedoc in 1676, this cavalry regiment, one of the oldest, adopted the nomination of 13th Dragoon Regiment (French: 13e Régiment de dragons) during the reorganization of the French cavalry in 1791. The regiment was transformed into an armored corps in 1936, then an airborne-capable reconnaissance unit in 1952.
We first found the workout posted by Cross Ops @crossops as one of the tested and recommended WODs by their elite units.
