Movement Standards


Kettlebell Waiter Walk: While holding the Kettlebell overhead, walk the prescribed distance with the elbows fully locked out.


Kettlebell Figure 8 through Legs: From a standing position, move the Kettlebell from the outside of the left leg over to the inside of the right leg and from the outside of the right leg back to the outside of the left leg, forming a figure 8.


This workout was really fun! So many new things to try! The broad jumps were tough and the plank was a LOT tougher than I thought it was going to be. I did that for 3:35. The single arm kettlebell swings took a bit to get used to.

The “Painstorm” WODs are a series of workouts that became popular after they were shared in the CrossFit Forum, typically with Credit to Brand X CrossFit and CrossFit Central Scotland in the early 2000’s. Each workout in the series, identified by the roman numeral in its name, has since spread throughout the functional fitness community. As a whole, the collection became very popular.

This specific workout was shared with WODwell by a friend who had a connection to one of the gyms who originated it.

Didn't rush this. Did two sets of 25 and then mostly sets of 15-20. A great challenge!
