This was a tough but great workout. There was really just no excuse to stop. I would rest just enough in between exercises to go unbroken. Deadlifts felt great. My pull-ups felt great too and all unbroken. I would alternate between kipping and butterfly. Really this was all about the burpee box jumps. They just took the longest.
The singles were a little bit tough. Calves were on fire but again, no reason to stop. I only tripped up twice!
Honored.

Background: This hero workout is dedicated to the 6 airmen who were killed on December 21, 2015 when a suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden motorcycle into a joint patrol with Afghan security forces.
The six men who were killed are Maj. Adrianna M. Vorderbruggen, Staff Sgt. Michael A. Cinco, Staff Sgt. Chester J. McBride, Tech Sgt. Joseph G. Lemm, Staff Sgt. Peter W. Taub, and Staff Sgt. Louis M. Bonacasa.
Each of the fallen has a story. They include a New York City police detective who surprised his family when he returned from Afghanistan on a previous deployment, an openly gay airman killed the day before the fifth anniversary of the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell; and an OSI agent who wanted to work for his family’s restaurant, whose wife was pregnant with their second child, according to media reports.
The workout was designed by CrossFit 51 @crossfit51 (Tulsa, OK, USA) who posted it as their workout of the day for January 7, 2016.
