I really liked this workout! I literally used it as a warm-up since the movements were "warm-up" like and it was perfect! Like it was intended, I tried to move fast through it to honor Ashley's memory...

The "Ashley Birt" Hero WOD is fast and high intensity just like Ash’s character. According to australianherogames.com the "Ash Birt Memorial Workout" has been recognized in Australia since October 29, 2012, the date when each year the workout is conducted at Gallipoli Barracks Enoggera to remember Cpl Birt and his service. "The majority attendance is from 1 Int Bn and 6 ESR. However, other units do make an appearance." The charity nominated by Birt's family for those who choose to support is legacy.com.au.
