We did this workout as a you go/I go scheme with each of us doing all of the reps. It worked perfectly because the rest waiting for my partner was probably just as much as I would have rested anyway. It was a great workout. Honored...

This Firefighter Hero WOD is dedicated to John Fanning, FDNY, HazMat Operations, who was killed on September 11, 2001. John Joseph Fanning, 54, of West Hempstead, was a battalion chief of the New York City Fire Department's Hazardous Materials Operations Unit and an anti-terrorism expert. Fanning was supervising the first firefighters responding to the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center when family members say they believe he died while trying to save others inside the towers. He was last seen in the lobby of the south tower. His remains were never found.
