For Time: Finished in 37:16
Again 1/28/24: I think I timed all of this weird. I took out some rest time but I only rested long enough to set up the workouts on the machines. And then I think the first time I did this, I must have taken out the burpee times. Either that, or I have gotten REALLY slow! SO - I did the same on my numbers from the machines. Total time - 34:14, but add a couple minutes for unaccounted for rest.
100 calorie Row - 7:45 - 7:43
100 calorie Ski Erg - 8:26 - 7:26, I pushed here to try to PR! Yay!
100 calorie Assault Air Bike - 12:16 - Different bike so I would take a couple minutes off of 14:35 (12:35)
Every 2 minutes, perform:
7 Burpees
**Start performing the burpees after the two-minute mark
This was a TOUGH workout but so so worth it! I was happy thinking about doing this for Brock as he is in the process of his healing.
I would say the toughest part was the ski erg - that is just a body fatiguer! Lol! I thought the burpees would be annoying but they were actually a welcome break and a good way to catch my breath.

Right before Christmas, 2018, "a member of the Kato CrossFit Family was given some awful news. His son, Brock, would have to have a bone marrow transplant and undergo chemotherapy. Brock has ALD (adrenoluekodystrophy), a genetic disease that severely affects boys and men. It affects the nerve cells that allow us to think and control our muscles."
"On December 3, 2018 Brock's routine MRI scan revealed the horrible news that he had a lesion on his brain and therefore was diagnosed with the fatal childhood version of ALD. The positive news is they were able to detect the disease early and Brock has a chance at a bone marrow transplant. Brock will undergo intense chemotherapy and will be hospitalized for many months. His total recovery could be 1-2 years potentially. Transplants have extremely high risks and, unfortunately, they do not always work. We are choosing to remain hopeful and optimistic through this process and we expect Brock will pull through."
This tribute WOD was submitted to us by Chris Ellison and created by Coach Dan Groh of Kato CrossFit (Mankato, MN, USA). In the workout, "the 100 is significant because the 100-day mark after the transplant is a usually major milestone (it marks the end of hospitalization and outpatient care). The 7 is significant because Brock will undergo 7 straight days of intense chemotherapy prior to his transplant."
"Brock is an amazing boy who has a terrible disease. He is going to beat this!" This Instagram account will chronicle his transplant process. #cantstopbrock
