I did this workout after doing 20 back squats at 175# so I was worried about the thrusters but honestly, after doing the 100 push-ups the thrusters were tough because my ARMS were toast!! Lol!! I really liked this WOD though! Always love a chipper! :D

The story of this chipper started when one day, while we trained, some members of the box proposed to create a new WOD. That was because they were all tired of doing the usual benchmark WODs.

So, we came up with this chipper. We intended it to be hard but not too technical. So, we decided to create the WOD, BRANCA. That's my dog's name, which in turn comes from a very popular alcoholic beverage in Argentina: Fernet-Branca. This is a pretty strong drink that I associate with the hardness of the Rottweiler breed.

So, after finishing the chipper, ending up all dead lying on the floor (such as after drinking lots of Fernet), we decided to name the WOD: BRANCA.
