This British Hero WOD is a tribute to Lance Bombardier Ross Clark and Lance Bombardier Liam 'Paddy' McLaughlin, both 148 (Meitkila) Commando Forward Observation Battery, 29 Commando Regiment, who gave their all in Sangin, Helmand province, Afghanistan on the 3 March 2007. LBdr Clark and LBdr McLaughlin manned a fire support tower to try to spot the enemy when the Taliban fired a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) at the tower. The grenade exploded and both men were sadly killed by the close range blast. Credit to @britishherowods who first posted this WOD on Instagram March 5, 2017.
