This "Lindsay" memorial WOD was created by coach Lauren Rantala of CrossFit Cabra (Southlake, TX, USA) to honor the death of a new member of the gym. Lindsey Weems was just beginning her CrossFit journey when she was tragically killed by a drunk driver on May 1, 2017, one week after she began classes. 24 reps of 24 movements, because Lindsay was only 24 years old. We first found the WOD posted to Lauren's Instagram, where she said: "It is extremely difficult to put this into words that are meaningful and do Lindsay justice. Lindsay was my first person to sign up for the New You Challenge. She worked out with us for one week, then was tragically killed by a drunk driver. We didn't know Lindsay long but we all felt compelled to do something in her memory."
